Following a year of growth in which employee numbers have doubled, Brightwave is showing its commitment to nurturing local talent by supporting  a new apprenticeship scheme run by DV8 Training Sussex .

The Creative and Digital Media Advanced Apprenticeship scheme is designed to identify the next generation of emerging talent by providing young people with the opportunity to learn and develop their existing skills in a paid-for, real-life workplace environment. The apprentices will be employed full time by the participating organisations who have committed to providing support, mentoring and guidance to candidates throughout their 12-15 month apprenticeship training.  Each apprentice spends four days a week in the workplace and one day at DV8's training centre.

Brightwave has kick-started its involvement with the scheme by opening two vacancies - one for a Graphic Designer and the second a Content Integrator role. Details of these vacancies can be found at: http://www.brightwave.co.uk/jobs-at-brightwave/.

Alison Mitchell-Innes, director of talent, at Brightwave said: "Developing the next generation of talent is high on the agenda at Brightwave to support our current growth and future ambitions. As part of this drive, we're delighted to support the DV8 Apprenticeship Scheme. As well as helping to ensure a fresh pool of talent and ideas for Brightwave, we are excited to be supporting a scheme that benefits young local people and the wider digital industry."
