GoodPractice, working in conjunction with Kineo, has developed a media inspired e-learning programme for managers and leaders.
E-Learning Essentials incorporates elements from the likes of reality TV and phone-in radio shows to make learning engaging and memorable.
Learners can programme their own learning when and how they want by ‘channel surfing’ through different learning activities rather than following a prescribed route.
With ten years experience of developing and delivering leadership and management materials to improve the performance of leaders and managers, GoodPractice says it has based its E-Learning Essentials programmes on its research into managers’ most common development needs, including: coaching, communication, creativity, difficult conversations, leadership and time management.
Although the design is based on popular culture, it is grounded in common workplace scenarios, from the need to think more creatively, to how to give constructive feedback or manage an unexpected assignment. The range of activities allows managers to reflect, interact and self-diagnose their future development needs.
Peter Casebow, chief executive of GoodPractice, said: “For the past 10 years our business has been creating cost-effective learning solutions for leaders and managers. E-learning is a natural progression for us.”
