Spirit Pub Company has renewed its elearning partnership with MindLeaders ThirdForce for a further three years.

The original partnership agreement between the two companies was signed in 2008. Since then MindLeaders ThirdForce has provided elearning based training in career development, food safety, health and safety and licensing law. In addition, the agreement includes the creation of bespoke courses and allows Spirit Pub Company to use the MindLeaders ThirdForce AIMS platform to produce its own elearning content.

MindLeaders ThirdForce says that the renewal is based on a track record of high completion rates, with over 203,000 courses successfully undertaken over the past three years.

Marco Faccini, Head of Hospitality, Leisure and Facilities Management at MindLeaders ThirdForce, said: “We see ourselves very much as a partner rather than simply a provider. Our involvement stretches back to a deal with Mill House Inns in 2002, which now forms part of Spirit Pub Company, so we have a deep understanding of their values and requirements.”

Spirit Pub Company owns and operates more than 800 managed pubs across the UK, including brands such as Chef & Brewer, Fayre & Square, Taylor Walker and Flaming Grill, and prides itself on delivering an effective employee training programme.

Mark Peters, Talent Development Manager at the Spirit Pub Company, said: “Spirit Pub Company prides itself on attracting and developing high calibre employees and has created, with third parties such as MindLeaders ThirdForce, a suite of vocational training courses that provide a clear career pathway from entry level Apprenticeships through to a bespoke Masters degree in Licensed Retail Management.”
