Perforce Software has introduced an e-learning solution to deliver on-demand web-based training for users of its version management platform.
The company, which has its HQ in California and offices in the UK, Canada and Australia, says that the Perforce version management platform enables its customers to create, develop and version digital assets from intellectual property to content. The platform can handle large and distributed collections of content.
Perforce eLearning delivers training that is organised in role-based learning paths so that users can choose the modules relevant to their position in the organisation, such as system administrator, Perforce administrator, Perforce user (basic, intermediate, advanced), manager and enterprise architect. The units are accessible at any time and last between one and four hours.
Tony Vinayak, professional services manager for Perforce Software, said: “Our customers are spread across the globe and to effectively deliver training we realise it has to be offered on the internet, on-demand and broken into bite-sized units that don’t take up an entire day.”
