The latest release of the SaaS-based content authoring tool CourseBuilder, v5.6 from Edvantage group includes new audio and visual functionality as well as the launch of interactive pdfs.
The company claims that CourseBuilder v5.6 features many new ways to manipulate visual elements using static, animated or transition effects. It also features 25 new frame effects and allows these to be easily added to any picture, video or animation as well as an option to add background sound to e-learning courses.
Interactive pdfs provide a channel for sharing learning content within organisations. CourseBuilder v5.6 enables easy re-use of content by allowing users to export any page or sequence of their e-learning to an Interactive pdf file.
Sven Ove Sjolyst, VP CourseBuilder at Edvantage group, said: “The new audio-visual features in CourseBuilder enhance the user experience and make it even easier and faster for users to create high-quality interactive e-learning. It’s so easy to make pdfs come alive with stunning interactive content in sales brochures, manuals, technical documentation, etc. CourseBuilder allows you to easily and quickly create or re-use interactive content in any pdf file, increasing the ROI on any content-development as you will be able to use the same content for multiple purposes.”
The company’s clients can access the new features and capabilities as part of Edvantage group’s SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) model.
