Brightwave has been selected to join the Buying Solutions framework of approved suppliers to deliver e-learning services for the public sector.

Buying Solutions aims to improve value for money and efficiency by enabling UK public sector organisations to commission e-learning without having to repeat procurement and assessment exercises.

Brightwave claims that a collaborative approach to procurement and implementation has saved money for each of the Clyde Valley councils (Clyde Valley Learning and Development Group - CVLDG) that are currently implementing its Local Government E-Learning Service. Brightwave is also working with the Home Office, Glasgow City Council and the Healthcare Commission.

John Wilson, category specialist at Buying Solutions said: “Public sector organisations can use our free service to select from a growing range of suppliers to help them find the best partner, whilst making real time and cost efficiencies. All approved suppliers comply with statutory and legislative compliance and offer real value for money– something that’s becoming increasingly vital as the UK adapts to forthcoming budget cuts.”
