A learning management system (LMS) developed for the automotive retail industry by Redware Limited, has received a Commendation in the category of Best Marketing, Sales & Service Quality Improvement Project at Jaguar Land Rover’s (JLR) annual Quality Awards.
The LMS named Excellence is currently used by almost 40,000 people in 100 countries. Excellence provides online resources and access to JLR's Academy-based training programmes. The system is available in ten languages including Chinese and Russian and the courses available cover the JLR dealer's business: sales and marketing, parts and service.
Using competency assessment tools or training need analysis techniques learners are provided with personalised development plans. By targeting key needs, the advantages for the participant and employing business should become measurable and cost effective.
Redware managing director Andrew Wigley said: "Redware has been working in partnership with Jaguar Land Rover for over three years. The solution we have developed is especially critical during this economic downturn. Excellence has helped JLR to enhance its customer satisfaction ratings with better trained and better motivated staff. JLR has been able to focus on quality in terms both of customer loyalty and staff retention."
Redware has won a further one year contract as a strategic IT partner for Jaguar Land Rover.
