Epic and consultancy company Premier Partnership have formed a strategic alliance to sell training and development services to government clients.

Both companies have met the competency requirements of the public sector wide procurement framework for Buying Solutions and are now combining their resources and expertise to offer blended solutions. The partnership is targetting the health sector and central government where Epic's range of e-learning services will enhance Premier's programmes.

Tracy Capaldi-Drewett, Epic's commercial director said: "Buying Solutions has recognised Epic's capability and track record in delivering technology based learning solutions. Our status as suppliers of bespoke and generic e-learning solutions to the public sector complements Premier Partnership's excellence in customer service, diversity and equal opportunities, health and welfare, social awareness, and HR."

Alan Woodcock, Premier Partnerships director, said: "Partnerships between organisations are nothing new. The skill sets of both organisations are well balanced and I am confident that together we will bring significant value for money to public sector skills development in these challenging times."
