Training outsourcing provider, REDTRAY, has purchased CareConnect Learning, a provider of NVQ and Skills for Life qualifications.
CareConnect’s offering is based in the Health and Social Care sector and it further expands REDTRAY’s portfolio of training solutions, leading the company to claim that it now reaches every level of the learning spectrum, from literacy and numeracy to high-end corporate solutions.
Bob Woodland, CEO of REDTRAY, said: “Their knowledge of the healthcare sector coupled with our learning solutions will make us a preferred provider for the Health Care industry. We plan to build upon CareConnect’s success by offering their clients a wider range of courses and an exciting new blend of training solutions.”
CareConnect staff have relocated to REDTRAY’s training centre in Haymarket, London. Melanie Knight, Head of CareConnect Sales and Marketing team, said: “By joining forces with REDTRAY we have an augmented product to offer and as a result we look forward to improving the learner experience.”
This acquisition follows on from REDTRAY’s take-over last year of First Step Training Ltd and merger with Academy Internet. In 2009 REDTRAY was ranked 30th in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 list of the UK’s fastest growing technology companies.
