Capital City Bank has chosen Atlantic Link’s rapid e-learning and authoring solution Content Point 2.0 to bring e-learning development in-house, a decision taken to save time, money and resources.

Previously, the bank used external instructional designers and had no in-house developers and programmers. Bringing e-learning development in-house meant the authoring tool had to be easy for people with little or no experience of developing or programming online courses to use. It also had to be cost effective and require little support from internal IT staff.

Atlantic Link’s Content Point 2.0 enables collaborative development from any location, a feature that helps the training team better manage resources. Built in issue management and quality assurance functionality allow each team member to log notes, comments, concerns and tasks for easy retrieval and review.

The ability to outline a course up-front and get quick feedback has transformed the team’s approach to course development, leading Capital City Bank to claim that the Atlantic Link e-learning suite has proved to be one of the most cost-effective solutions its training team has employed.

Denise Wilson, vice president of corporate development at Capital City Bank, said: “Atlantic Link's set of tools was not only comprehensive, but also easy to use. It allowed my team to get up and running after a minimal amount of training."
