E-Learning Awards announced

The pick of the crop of e-learning excellence was unveiled at the fourth annual E-Learning Awards at a glittering ceremony on Thursday 6 November 2008. 

The who’s who of the e-learning industry gathered at the Park Lane Hotel in London to learn who would take home the prizes. 13 award categories produced a record 20 winners, with a further 6 organisations receiving commendations and special mentions.

NCALT
proved to be the biggest winner, taking home the E-learning Industry Award for Outstanding Achievement as well as the much coveted Excellence in the Production of Learning Content”.  They also received a Special Mention in the Best E-learning Project Securing Widespread Adoption category.  

Another company scooping two awards was Kineo who won the E-learning Development Company of the Year award and, together with Cable & Wireless, picked up the Silver Award for Best Use of Rapid E-learning Content.
