    Host of the E-Learning Awards 2008

 

 

A specialist in IT, Angela left university to be a systems analyst. By 25 Angela was the youngest ever female Manager at British Gas. She was then selected by them to tour the country presenting the Faraday Lecture, at the end of which she was offered a presenting job for the BBC.

 

Angela has gone on to present a number of science and factual programmes including: The Fragile Planet, Science Fix, and It’ll Never Work? This won a BAFTA, two RTS Awards and two Prix Jeunesse.

 

Her radio work includes a series of techno-cultural programmes based predominantly around IT and how the internet affects our culture. Ground Control followed large engineering projects from start to finish, and The Invention of Baby marked the 50th anniversary of programmable computers.

 

Angela also works extensively for the corporate market including conference facilitating, live events, corporate and training videos, demonstrations and internet material.
