How to Enter the E-Learning Awards
Entering the E-Learning Awards is quick and easy. There are two steps to follow:
- Register your entries by completing the entry form. The deadline for registration of entries is 29 June 2012.
- Make your written submission - see below for further details. The deadline for submissions is 31 July 2012 .
The cost of registering your entries of £125 plus VAT per entry. You can enter as many times as you like in as many categories as you like. All entry fees are non refundable. We accept VISA or MasterCard but do not accept American Express.

Please ensure that you have read the terms and conditions. By registering an entry into the E-Learning Awards you agree to adhere to these terms and conditions.
Making your Submission
The deadline for all submissions is Tuesday 31 July 2012.
Your submission will determine whether or not your entry is shortlisted, so it is advisable to ensure that your submission covers all the basics effectively as set out in the criteria for the category you have entered.
There is no form to complete ; however, it may be useful for you to structure your submission around the following headings:
- Background: You should supply information about all the organisations and key stakeholders involved in your submission, as well as the problems or issues your e-learning hoped to address.
- Outline Solution: Detail the solution you devised and its objectives.
- Challenges: Detail any challenges or further problems you encountered and how and they were addressed as part of the solution.
- Results: Give as much information as you can about your results against the objectives. Please include qualitative and quantitative data and any information about ROI.
It is also useful to include a brief summary covering the main points of your submission.
Rules of Submission

Please ensure you have read the full terms and conditions before registering your entries or making your submissions. By submitting an entry into the E-Learning Awards you agree to adhere to these terms and conditions.
- The decisions made by the judging panel are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- All submissions must be a maximum of 3,000 words including summary, appendices and other written information. Submissions exceeding this limit by more than 10% will not be judged.
- Submissions may be accompanied by any or all of the following if you feel they will add value:
- A short video file which must be no more than 5 minutes long.
- URL links to additional material, such as a demo of the programme or product.
- Slides or static screen displays. These must number no more than twelve.
- If you wish to provide any of the information above, the following should be noted:
- The judging panel will spend no more than 10 minutes viewing any URLs. You should therefore provide guidelines on how they should navigate the links within that time frame.
- The judging panel must be able to view any URls or video without further interaction with you.
- It is your responsibility to provide correct login and password details or any electronic information. Neither Bizmedia nor the judging panel will take responsibility for broken or inaccurate links or video files, nor links or video files blocked by security settings or restrictions placed by internet service providers.
- CD-ROMs, DVDs, demos, USB sticks, company brochures or any additional electronic or printed information must not be submitted as these will not be reviewed or judged.
If you are shortlisted we will contact you as soon as possible. Some categories require a short presentation to the judging panel and we will give you further details at this time. Please refer to the criteria for the category you have entered to see if your award requires a presentation.
